lab | designs was founded in 2011 by designer and native Ohioan Lisa Boone. After studying both fine arts and graphic design, she made her way into the acting world, ending up in Los Angeles by way of New York City.  Although grateful to be a working actress, Lisa still felt a creative void, one that was thankfully filled when she decided to enroll in some jewelry classes. Not only was she fulfilled by the therapeutic nature of the design process, she also loved creating meaningful pieces for her friends.  After that, she was hooked!  

When Lisa isn't in her studio, the busy mother of two spends time shuttling her boys to various sports activities, enjoys rock climbing, perusing farmer's markets, drinking copious amounts of coffee and dining out with her husband and friends.  Her true calling however, is devising top secret missions and orchestrating treasure hunts for her boys.
